My name is Patricia Porter, and I am a semi-retired English teacher currently offering a professional English Language tuition service situated in Benitachell. I am willing to travel to Moraira, Javea, Denia and surrounding areas for face to face tutorials, or you can come to me, whichever option suits you best. However, if you are in the region south to Alicante or north to Valencia and are looking for expert tuition in the English Language, please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss your requirements, as I also offer on-line tutoring via skype (international availability) and there is always the possibility of meeting face to face when it suits us both.

Qualifications and experience

I am a native English speaker. BA (Honours) First Class in Spanish Language and English Linguistics. PGCE (Post Graducation Certificate of Education-Professional teaching qualification). Tefl Certificate (120 hours). I have an enhanced DBS certificate (adults and children).

I am mature, lively and friendly, and I have many years of experience, especially teaching teens from Key Stage 3 through GCSE and iGCSE. I also have experience teaching Business English and Functional Skills English to adults, as well as teaching ESOL and EFL at an International Language School (Cambridge Certification and IELTS), to a range of students from aged 8 to 25.

From beginners through school curriculum requirements, university entry and business career, I can help you achieve your English Language aims: improve your understanding of grammar and spelling rules, perfect your pronunciation and build your fluency, so that you can achieve your targets.

My personally individualised programmes, for both young and more mature students, are designed to get you learning from the minute you start. Although I speak Spanish, all classes will be conducted in English, so that you are totally immersed in the language. Don't worry about making mistakes, all mistakes are good when we learn from them. You will soon see how just trying will help you enhance your English language skills.
